Mini-face lift is for people who are above 40 years old and who start having the frowns or wrinkles on face. Mini-face lift aims to restore a more youthful look by tightening the skin fo the mid-face and eliminating any wrinkles.
You should stay in Thailand at least 10-14 days to complete a whole process. Mini-face lift will require 2 nights stay in the hospital. Follow up check up and stitches removal will be done 7 days after the surgery.
The mini-facelift surgery itself takes two to four hours. The skin of the neck and cheeks, together with the tissues beneath the skin, is freed across a large area and then pulled towards the ear. Any excess fatty tissue in the neck area can be removed via an incision made under the chin.
Mini-face lift is usually done under General Anesthesia and takes 3-4 hours average.
After a mini-facelift, you need to wear a supportive elastic hat for between five and seven days.Following the procedure, your face and neck will be swollen. This will take about two weeks to get better. The stitches are removed one to two weeks after the surgery.
The scars caused by the mini-facelift are located in front of the ears. Generally speaking, an S-lift involves less risk than a full face lift.
The possible main risks are swelling, bruising, bleeding, infection, scarring and numbness, or change in sensation. Following the surgeon’s advice will reduce risks and complications.
